Let’s Go Local: Taveuni For Medical Student Turned Entrepreneur – Rehan Khan

Fiji has a lot to offer, and tourists are coming back for more of these beautiful sceneries.
Rehan Khan, the owner of Garden Coffee Lounge who moved to Australia years ago is back not only to study and start his business but also because Fiji is ‘home’.
Mr Khan was a food science teacher at Nadi College for two years before deciding to change his career path.
Five years ago he joined Fiji National University’s Medical School to pursue his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Last week, the 33-year-old opened his coffee lounge at Raojibhai Patel Street in Suva.
“Learning and exploring new opportunities has no barrier in the business world,” he said.
One by one, Mr Khan is ticking off a list of personal goals he has proudly achieved.
“This is an investment of a lifetime,” he said.
Where in Fiji would you take visitors to?
It would be the coastal side of Viti Levu, the amazing scenery and the beautiful white sandy beaches.

The beach and the sound of the crashing waves it’s so peaceful.
