Appointments Of Permanent Secretaries Ashiwn Raj And Tupou’tuah Baravilala Ceased
The Public Service Commission has ceased the appointments of Permanent Secretaries Ashiwn Raj and Tupou’tuah Baravilala.

The Public Service Commission has ceased the appointments of Permanent Secretaries Ashiwn Raj and Tupou’tuah Baravilala.
Mr Raj’s appointment as Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation is expected to come to an end from January 31, 2023.
Dr Josefa Koroivueta is expected to succeed Mr Raj in an acting capacity from February 7, 2023.
This was confirmed by Public Service Commission chair Luke Rokovada.
Mr Rokovada also confirmed the ceasing of Ms Baravilala’s acting appointment as Permanent Secretary for Communications.
