Cho Minseo scored 389 marks out of 400 to be Jai Nayaran College top student for the 2022 Year 12 National Examination.
Cho said it was not easy studying for the marks she attained, but determination and a strong will for a better life in Fiji kept her going.
The 17-year-old pored over textbooks, internet and past year papers to prepare forfor the exam.
She scored 100 in Mathematics, 100 in Chemistry, 99 in Biology, 98 in Physics and 90 in English.
