There Is Time Says Mccausland-Durie
Building up to the Netball World Cup (NWC) in South Africa Fiji Pearls specialist coach Yvette McCausland-Durie says there is time to form a good side.
McCausland-Durie was impressed with the squad’s first training camp that ended last Saturday.
“A really valuable week, I think we’ve been so impressed with the age and stage of the development programme,” McCausland-Durie said.
“We have seen some really good progress, we’ve got a long way to go, we’ve got time.
“I’m impressed with how players are open to learning, their willingness to work for each other and support each other.
McCausland-Durie is here as pioneer in a ground-breaking development – the Ako Coaching Initiative NWC23 between Netball Fiji, Netball New Zealand (NNZ) and Netball Central Zone (NCZ).
