Fiji National University (FNU) first-year student Gurdeep Singh is grateful to receive financial assistance for his first semester studies this year.
The former Lomawai Secondary School Year 13 student was among 10 students who received $500 financial assistance each from the Swaran Singh Educational Charitable Trust (NZ) at the Lautoka Sikh Temple on Sunday.
Gurdeep, who is enrolled to study civil engineering at FNU, scored 323 marks out of 400 in last year’s Year 13 National Examination.
