Taxi Association Warns Drivers Not To Drive In Flooded Roads

Taxi drivers and operators in Labasa have been urged to avoid flooded crossings and attempting to cross flooded roads during the cause of heavy rainfall or natural disaster.

This comes after a recent photo circulated on social media showing a taxi being stranded halfway along the Tovata Korowiri road during the flash flood in Labasa last Friday.

Labasa Taxi Association (LTA) secretary, Sujit Sharma, did not want to comment on how the incident transpired.
