From January to February 2, 2023 the Force recorded 11 suicides and eight attempted suicide cases.
While in the same period last year, the Fiji Police Force recorded a total of 11 suicide and five attempted suicide cases.
Psychotherapist Selina Kuruleca said despite the suicidal figures remaining at a staggering 11 during the first month, the number of attempted to commit suicide cases remains a concern.
