Reshma Voices Ocean Survival
The Pacific Ocean makes up one third of the planet’s surface area and, covering more than 165 million square kilometres, is large enough to swallow all the continents combined.
Representing Fiji at the ‘Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit’ in Panama, Reshma Ram stood tall and proud advocating the protection on Fiji’s ocean.
She was among the 77 young ocean leaders from around the world.

It was an opportunity to inspire, inform, and empower youth participants in building holistic solutions that better balance the needs of society, industry, and the ocean environment.
The sixth OOYLS is an integral part of the ‘Our Ocean Conference’, which took place in Panama on February 27 to March 1, 2023.
It was co-hosted by the Sustainable Ocean Alliance, in cooperation with Our Ocean Conference organizers.
