The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) is on a mission to help farmers build back better from natural disasters.
In fact, a parametric insurance scheme has been introduced by the Pacific Insurance and Climate Adaptation Programme (PICAP) to aid farmers in their time of need.
It is the first microinsurance product in the region that provides financial cover against heavy wind and extreme rainfall related events.
