Head Prefects Will Help Deliver Better Academic Results

Duavata Secondary School head prefects Maria Prasad and Poseci Baleikasavu have committed themselves to inspire fellow students achieve good academic results this year.
Despite limited internet connectivity and other resources, the rural-based school achieved commendable results in external exams for Year 12 and Year 13.
The school recorded a 100 per cent pass rate for the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) and 88 per cent in the Year 13 2022 exams.
Head girl, Maria, 17, said she was proud and believed this moment would be cherished for the rest of her life.
