Ministry Of Health To Pay $110,660 To Grieving Father

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services has been ordered to pay $110,660 to a grieving father who lost his two-year-old child in 2015 because of negligence. The child was treated at the Lautoka Hospital, unfortunately he succumbed to the infection he following day (April 16, 2015).
On April 12, 2015, Kitione had been injured as a wooden splint pierced the underside of his tongue.
