Yes We Can, Says Fijiana Drua Captain

Regardless of the big turnover of players Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua captain Bitila Tawake is confident that her side can retain the SuperW title this season.

Fijiana faces Brumbies in the SuperW round one this Saturday at Prince Charles Park.

“The new girls who have come on board to fill the empty spots can hold on in the transition and work together to repeat last season’s success,” Tawake said.

“It is an honour to lead the girls again this season.

“There’s a lot of pressure on us. It was a bit difficult at the beginning getting the girls back into shape, the team culture and bond in a team.”
