Clause six of the draft Media Ownership and Registration Bill of 2023, must go, a leading broadcast media yesterday.
Every media organisation should be given the opportunity to grow, said the Communication Fiji Limited co-founder William Parkinson.
His comments during public consultations over the proposed Bill came at a time when Trade minister, Manoa Kamikamica was in New Zealand encouraging foreigners to invest in Fiji.
According to Mr Parkinson, most foreigners were interested in investing in the media.
