Versatile Josua Soronakadavu scored two tries for the Western State Maroons but it was not enough as they went down 28-18 against Papua New Guinea’s Hela Wigman side in their Melanesian Cup clash at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday afternoon.
The side lost the plot in the first half as they trailed 16-12 against the PNG champion club side.
Maroons first five eight Timoci Namotokula kicked two conversions and a penalty field goal but the visitors were too good at how they controlled the game.
