Women entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic growth and job creation.
This was the sentiment shared by Lynda Tabuya during the opening of the Women Entrepreneurs Business Council – Women Invigorating the Nation (WIN) on Friday.
“I am honoured to stand among a group of dynamic and ambitious women who share a common goal of advancing women’s economic empowerment,” said the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation.
“Fijian women entrepreneurs face several complex barriers in setting up and operating businesses which include gender blind regulatory frameworks.
