Tanoa’s $10m Upgrade

Tanoa International Hotel will give competitors a run for its money when it concludes an ambitious five-star upgrade on one of its properties.
The upgrade would cost more than $10 million, said Tanoa Hotel Group’s area general manager, Daniel Roy.
“Other hotels will receive a facelift after Tanoa International,” he said.
Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Brent Hill said the investment would create more job opportunities, and attract more tourists to Fiji.
“They are doing great things, and investing in sports tourism and hotels,” Mr Hill said.
“There is a need for more rooms and hotels in Fiji.”
The upcoming Investment in Tourism Summit on March 30-31 would provide a platform for discussions on sustainable tourism development to attract more investment to Fiji, Mr Hill said.
The summit will be held at Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort, Denarau.
