Parents Commend Bus Company, Driver For Helping North School Transportation
Children of Vatulovona Village will no longer have to walk a whole kilometre to catch the bus in order to attend Waidamudamu Sanatan Dharam Primary School in Labasa.
This comes after their parents and head teacher sent a request to Bus Company, Dalip Chand and Son Private Limited to extend their route service.
One of the parents, Diana Prasad, said it would take her three children about 40 minutes to walk to the main road from home and wait for the 8am bus and then reach school at 8:20am.
“After school the bus would pick them at 3:30pm, drop them at the main road and they would reach home around 4:30pm,” Mrs Prasad said
