The Fiji Police Force will review its re­cruitment process as it works toward restoring public confidence and trust.

People’s impression of the force as the guardian of national peace, security, and stability has deterio­rated because of wrong actions car­ried out by some young personnel in the past.

The Acting Commissioner, Juki Fong Chew, said the style of lead­ership and recruitment of the past had an immense effect on this.
