Shocked: Mike Towler Tells
Members of a business council said they were shocked to learn of the goings-on behind consultations that involved proposed changes to labour laws.
The Textile Clothing and Footwear Council met late last week after members received a memo from Fiji Commerce and Employment Federation, which highlighted five areas that were at the time, likely to be changed, in the Employment Relations Bill of 2007.
Some TCF Council executive members are also affiliated with Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation.
