Savenaca Leads Cortege Of Ratu Epeli To Taveuni

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commander Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai has confirmed that Naval Vessel RFNS Savenaca will escort the funeral cortege of the late Ratu Epeli Ganilau to Taveuni today.
Major-General Kalouniwai said Ratu Epeli, in his capacity as a former Commander of the RFMF and an honorary colonel for the 3rd battalion infantry regiment will be accorded a full military funeral.
“We will be escorting the casket from hospital tomorrow (today), a procession march of the cortege will take place from the Hospital to Brown Street at the corner of Fiji TV,” he said.
