Another Art & Fashion Show Next Year
Savusavu can expect another art and fashion week next year, following the support it gathered at its inaugural opening.
Daku Resort and Fiji Arts Council – organisers of the festivities – said artists would spend the week in information sessions to elaborate on their work, and explain the behind-the-scenes processes in the art.
Students from nearby schools have been invited to join in the talanoa sessions.
For the second festival, resorts and hoteliers have been encouraged to join as partners, to offer alternate host options.
Fiji Arts Council has extended the invitation to tourism operators in Macuata and Taveuni, to host future festivities.
