Fijian Drua Use ‘Disappointment’ As Motivation Ahead Of Rebels Match

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua rugby squad has been pushing themselves at training despite the blistering Nadi sun.

Head coach Mick Byrne said the physicality at training had increased as the players were still “hurting and disappointed” from the results against the Highlanders.

The team lost two close matches against the Reds and the Highlanders, which Byrne believes were winnable.

However, the players are using these losses as motivation to right the wrongs and are channelling their disappointment into their upcoming match against Melbourne Rebels at the HFC Bank Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
