A total of 88 Government quarters will be repaired in the current financial year with an estimated cost of $3.4 million.
This was highlighted on Wednesday by Alitia Bainivalu, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs.
While tabling the committee’s review report of the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management’s 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 annual reports, Ms Bainivalu said most government quarters needed urgent repairs and maintenance.
