Three years ago, Anare Kuruduadua of Vunilagi Settlement, Cakaudrove used his land to plant yaqona, root crops and vegetables.
Last year he expanded his business to include a fish pond business.
In it, he breeds tilapia, prawns and grass carp in eight ponds.
Through the ministry’s Self-Help Programme (SHP) assistance of $15,000 he was able to carry out land preparation for four of his fish ponds
