A prominent Labasa businessman has called on Government to explore avenues that will ensure a training pathway is created for skills enhancement.
A.Hussain Group of Companies managing director, Hamzah Hussein, said migration overseas for better paying jobs was a contributor to this shortage.
Mr Hussein told the Fiscal Review Committee chairperson, Richard Naidu, to consider the re-establishment of technical colleges around the country.
