The Ministry of Education has issued a circular to all school heads regarding student behavior in public spaces, following a viral video showing students misbehaving on a Central Transport bus in Suva on Wednesday.

The video was taken by a passerby opposite the Suva Handicraft Centre.

Students were returning from the day-2 of the Suva Zone 1 athletics meet.

The video received thousands of negative reactions, with parents urging students to behave.

Acting Permanent Secretary Timoci Bure confirmed that the circular was sent out with a reminder for close supervision of students during the upcoming Coke Games, and a warning against misbehavior on public transport.
