Suva lawyer and Fiji Rugby Union interim administrator Simione Valenitabua has agreed to pay his dues owed to his former landlord.

Valenitabua’s former landlord, Sophie Foster, had filed a matter against him and Unaisi Valenitabua seeking the overdue rent since June 2019 until they vacated the property.

Valenitabua entered into a tenancy agreement with Foster on November 12, 2018, and were residing at the property until May 2020. Foster claimed that the defendants were in breach of tenancy agreement and owed her a total sum of $20,000, being the non-payment of their monthly rent.

The court heard that Valenitabua agreed to come to a settlement and would come up with a payment plan.

The matter will be settled on June 1.
