Reverend Samuela Civo, an Assemblies of God Church (AOG) minister and former recidivist inmate, attributes divine intervention for his transformation and turning his life over to God.

Reverend Civo shared his remarkable journey at the Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) Ba Province Yellow Ribbon Symposium at the Girmit Centre in Lautoka.

A father of three and grandfather of two, Reverend Civo revealed that he had a history of criminal activities in Lautoka, starting from the age of 14.

He served multiple sentences, with the first occurring in 1977, followed by subsequent convictions in 1979, 1983, and 1989.

He was finally released in 1992. Currently, Reverend Civo dedicates his time to visiting correctional facilities and providing spiritual guidance to inmates.
