High Hopes For Western Netball Rally
Lautoka netball boss Dorothy Prasad is hopeful that the reviving Western rally in July will work wonders for the sport.
It will be held at the Lautoka Primary School ground.
While Prasad cannot recall the last time the Western rally was held she is adamant that the July 15 rally will include all netball associations between Rakiraki and Sigatoka.
“We have a newcomer Vatukaloko and hopefully more will contact us. From Rakiraki, there are Tavua, Vatukoula and Ba, hopefully they all come on board,” Prasad said.
Then there are Nadi, Nadroga; hopefully Navosa and Yasawa.”
The choice of venue has been LPS because it is a family safe venue.
“It is an enclosed facility and it is safe for our families especially our children. We are also able to collect gate takings.
