No Tolerance For Board Members’ Petty Politics: Prasad

The Government will not tolerate board members of various organisations who engage in petty politics and divisive practices.
This was stressed during the National Budget Consultations at Tavua College on Thursday by the Minister for Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad.
“We want them to concentrate on governing what they are there for. They work for the people and the organisation.”
“We will make sure that our advisory councillors and those who sit on boards, whether they sit on the FSC board or any other board, that they set standards. Their job is to look after the interests of the organisation,” he said.
