Diversifying into new varieties of flowers and plants are key business tactics to stay afloat in the horticulture industry.
It will also ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
The Northern Horticulture Association (NHA) president, Asheem Khan, made these remarks after the marcotting and grafting training yesterday.
The session was initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Seaqaqa Research Station personnel.
About 30 members attended the training in Labasa and were awarded certificates of participation in the two training programmes.
