Tamani Eyes Flying Fijians Spot At RWC

It never crossed Joseva Tamani’s mind that he would be playing in the Super Rugby Pacific competition while growing up on Ovalau Island, Lomaiviti.
The 26-year-old flanker and Vagadaci native who shares maternal links to Tokou also on Ovalau, did not play rugby until he left Delana Methodist High School.
He has set his eyes on the white jumper at this year’s Rugby World Cup in France in September after two seasons with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.
He played an impressive game in his last home match on Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium and nailed the Drua’s 41-17 win with the final try; where he intercepted and was untouched in his 60 metres dash.
