Parents Told No Hope for Daughter, Until They Heard of Sai Prema

Despite being told by medical professionals at a hospital in the West that there was no hope for their daughter, Ba couple, Aayad Ayeza and Saheban Ali, sought a second opinion.
In doing so, their five-month-and-one-week-old baby girl, Razeena Ali, lives on today.
Razeena underwent heart surgery, thanks to Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital in Suva.
She was discharged yesterday.
As a reminder of the successful operation, the couple has decided to hold two birthdays for their daughter – one when she was born and the other when she was granted a second chance at life.
“To know that our daughter will grow up healthy is a blessing, especially after being told that we should not be too attached to her when she was diagnosed with a heart problem,” Mrs Ali said.
“We will now put more emphasis on the day she underwent surgery because she received a second lease of life. We are glad that we don’t have to worry about her anymore.
“The atmosphere at the hospital is different, the nurses and doctors are always positive and that is something every parent wants.”
When the couple was told that their daughter was not going to live long, they looked for help elsewhere.
“No parent wants to hear that there is nothing anyone can do to save them,” he said.
“I searched online to find out where we could take our daughter overseas to get surgery.”
“I was shocked when I saw that there was a hospital for children with heart problems in Fiji, a first in the Pacific. Now our miracle baby can live a healthy life.”
They thanked everyone who helped their child get a second chance at life.
