Suva to bounce back
Written By : AMIT RAJ. Coach Allen Jesoni said lady luck deserted his side as Suva lost 0-1 to Lautoka in the much talked about battle of the two cities.
He remains confident Suva will regroup in time to face neighbours Rewa today.
“It was just a lapse of concentration by the defenders who were ball watching. The pass came across and we failed to clear it but we had our chances as well. Lady luck was not on our side.’’
He said finishing was something the side would talk about while regrouping.
“We have to go back to the drawing board and re-look at everything. Finishing is a concern and we have to take our chances tomorrow. The strikers need to do a lot of work.’’
Even late replacements Sedrick Dutt and Maleli Nakalavo failed to inspire Suva.
“Joseph (Nimariau) was not at his best. We know he could have done better and I’m sure he will do better tomorrow.’’
“He could have put that goal in the first half but it’s still early and we will return as a stronger side tomorrow. Every game is crucial for us now.’’
He said Suva team was injury free.
“It’s still early and I’m not looking at making changes yet.’’
“We have three more games and I’m sure we will put things in order,’’ said the former national team skipper.
