Lautoka netball appoints Aliti

Written By : RITESH KUMAR . Former national Aliti Seru has been appointed the new coach of the Lautoka Netball Association.
Seru will coach the team in the MH Tour which will start this week and the Western Rally which will start next Saturday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Association vice president Eparama Turaga says Seru is the best person to coach the team.
“As a defending champions of MH Tour and the Western Rally, our aim is to retain the titles.
“We will face tough competition from Nadi, Nadroga, and Ra in the MH Western division playoffs. “Likewise in the rally on June 14, we are expecting tough competition. “Seru is the winning coach of the Credit Corporation Club side for the last seven years.
“Last week the team won all the games in the round one of the club competition. “Her experience in this sport will motivate the young players in the team,” added Turaga.
Seru was denied of a visa to travel to New Zealand for the World Netball Championship in Auckland.
“She was awarded the best player award in the LNA in 2006.

Pool A-Suva II, Rewa, Tailevu, Nasinu One
Pool B-Suva One, Northland, Naitasiri
Nasinu Two.
Pool C-Lautoka One, Saivou
Nadroga, Nanukuloa.
Pool D-Nadi, Ba, Vatukaloko, Lautoka.
