Written By : Sun Fiji Sportsdesk. Southern Forest Navua soccer boss Anil Sharma says the celebration for winning the Fiji FACT title will go ahead.
He made the comment after some people have been threatening him not to hold the celebration. Sharma claims that he got numerous calls and text messages threatening his life following the 1-0 victory over Vodafone Labasa in the FACT final.
“I’m not worried at all about the threats but the celebration will go on as planned. The celebration will start from Thursday until Saturday. The atmosphere has totally changed here in Navua after the win and I dedicate this win to the children of Navua,” Sharma said.
He has also called the person to come out clean rather than hiding.
“I think the person making the threats should be worried about his own security if the police find him. The Navua police have the case. I believe that it was cowardly act of someone who does not have the guts to come and stand in front of me,” he said.
“The caller stated that he will cut my throat. This happened twice and it started on Tuesday.”
On the other hand Sharma also said that around $30,000 will be used for the three days celebration.
