The event was used to remind students about their surroundings and how to take care of it.
The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Learn live and save our endangered species’.
The students celebrated the event by painting and doing variety of artwork that were displayed for people to start realising the importance of the surroundings.
“A clean environment leads to a clean life, and a clean life to a healthy future for a person,” said school principal, Abhay Singh.
He said the marine environment and it surroundings play a vital role and human beings should take care of the resources.
“Our school has always done its best to promote cleanliness and will keep doing it in the future years to come.
“The teachers and students all have worked together to produce a very good work for the environment week through which a lot of other students have learnt.”
Mr Singh said learning about the resources the country has is quite beneficial in terms of general knowledge.
“The students performed a dance in which their costume was based on the marine life, which was interesting,” he said
He said children should take care and protect the environment in which we all live in because it is part of our lives.
