Written By : Vanessa Charters York, United Kingdom. I notice that media reports of the situation in Fiji are increasingly failing to refer to the “government” as the interim government.
Similarly, references to ‘Cabinet’ fail to remind readers that it is, in fact, an interim cabinet, or that the so-called ministers are in fact interim appointees.
I beg reporters and editors to carefully reinstate the use of the term “interim’ inn reference to the current regime and its associate bodies and members.
