Written By : Lawrence Narayan Suva. If it is any consolation to Apenisa Naiqulevu I do believe in the Holy Bible (FS 10/5). I have been sharing the Gospel freely for many years simply to encourage others to come to Christ just as he is suggesting people to read the Bible.
Incidentlly he has not been able to show me at least one scripture from the New Testament wherein Christians are required to keep the Sabbath but he has instead shifted his focus on another of his denominational doctrines that again has no scriptural basis. He is now claiming that Jesus rose “on the third day” (Tuesday) by quoting some scriptures from Corinthians and Matthew’s gospel. All scriptures he has quoted state “the third day” meaning after three days as Jesus had explained in Matt. 12;40.
There are 14 references in the New Testament which refer to Jesus rising from the dead, all of them clearly state “the third day” and not on the third day of the week.
