I wonder what stand will the Australian High Commission take since the Archbishop is co-chair of the NCBBF? Will it be the same as the stand on military personnel?
Most in the group are also teachers who will be away for two schooling weeks. So it seems the poor students will face a backlog in their studies. What is the Education Ministry doing about this?
Are they genuine youths going for the intended purpose or just taking a once in a lifetime opportunity of visiting Australia and having a good party?
Most have never been to church since their baptism.
The selection was also a flop. One parish in Lomaiviti is traveling free at the expense of those who deserve to be going in the first place. Very sad indeed.
Also some who are unemployed are talking about going on that infamous boat called the “HMS NO COME-BACK”.
I am interested to see how the Australian High Commission deals with their visa applications. Or is it just another opportunity for the High Commission to make money?
