Written By : Sun Fiji Newsroom. The great players are made through a very long process. Humility is a very important virtue. Without them the fall from grace will be swift and painful. Great players are very humble. We have to bear in mind that we can only get out of ourselves what we put in. Our body will not respond if we are not fit. Greatness and honour in sports is never achieved through arrogance. It is only achieved through a humble spirit. It is something earned and deserved. It is also defended by a spirit of humility and respect. We should maintain our self-respect and dignity. These are very hard to build. If we lose every game, if we maintain our dignity and self-respect then we have been gracious. We succeed in retaining something more important. Do not abandon them for cheap victory. In a game anyone who loses his head loses the contest. Being cool and calculating is not being soft; it is simply waiting for the opportunity to strive.
