Written By : SUN FIJI NEWSROOM. The Foreign Affairs Ministry has remained silent on the future of expelled acting High Commissioner to New Zealand Cama Tuiloma.
Whether he will take up his old job as the Local Government permanent secretary or take up another diplomatic post has yet to be ascertained.
Attempts to get a comment from Foreign Affairs permanent secretary Ratu Isoa Gavidi proved futile.
Public Service Commission chairman Rishi Ram said there were a number of options available and a decision would be revealed in due course.
Mr Tuiloma is understood to have reported to the Foreign Affairs Ministry for duty yesterday but what sort of duties he would be assigned could not be ascertained.
His wife on Wednesday said he would be reporting to the ministry on Monday. Mr Tuiloma since arriving in the country has not spoken publicly about his expulsion or the stand-off between Fiji and NZ.
