Body remains unidentified

Written By : SUN FIJI NEWSROOM. The partially decomposed body of a middle aged man found floating in the Saunaka River in Nadi, on Tuesday is yet to be identified.
The body was found by two women fishing near the Christian Mission Fellowship church on the Nadi Back Road.
The two alerted police who said the body had some visible injuries.
The man believed to be an Indian in his 50’s is about 1.7 meters tall with dark complexion and was wearing a gold earring on his left ear and a white patch on the left knee.
“We are seeking the general public assistance and report of any missing person should be lodged at the nearest police station immediately,” said police spokesman Wame Bautolu.
Meanwhile police were looking for 14 year old Natashe Devi who was last seen at her home in Tavakubu, Lautoka last Saturday.
Natasha who lives with her mother, an elder sister and three brothers was alone at home on the day when the rest of her family left that morning for work.
Her mother returned at around 6.30pm and could not locate her daughter.
She searched the area with no success and then filed a report with the police.
Natasha is about 5 feet tall with dark complexion. She has a scar which about four inches on her right hand in line with her below
