Since then, the school has provided quality education to a lot of students in Drasa and surrounding areas.
Drasa, is near the Queen’s Highway between Lautoka City and Ba.
It is close to the Tropik Pine Industries saw mill.
Drasa Secondary School provides education from Form Three to Form Seven.
It also offers vocational studies like Automotive Engineering, where students are trained in servicing and maintenance of motor vehicles, outboard motors, chainsaws and small machineries.
Catering and tailoring courses deal with tailoring garment production, catering and food production. Catering and tailoring graduates have found employment in local industries and some are working in overseas countries like Canada and New Zealand.
The school also offers Matua Programme in tailoring and garment production, catering and food production. The programme gives opportunities to school dropouts and adults who wish to gain formal academic qualification. It has no age limit and is open to all interested people.
