Students celebrate Teachers Day, World Food Day and Deepawali

The school took part in World Food Day celebrations at Lovu Sangam School and won the Best Stall Display Award for secondary section.
The Agriculture Department displayed fresh local foods while the catering school displayed cooked foods.
The home economics department participated in essay competition and was runners up.
The industrial arts department participated in painting competition and backyard garden models for which they won consolation prizes.
The school supports all its feeder schools whenever they approach.
Students of Drasa Secondary School took out time to celebrate Teachers Day and Diwali last Friday
The students prepared garlands for every staff and read short introductions.
Items and drama were also presented on the theme. For Deepawali the students took part in the various activities organized by the cultural committee.
These were classroom decorations, Rangoli competition and greeting cards.
Form 5A won classroom decorations while Form 4D won the Rangoli competition. Cash prizes of $50, $20 and $10 were given to the winners.
The prizes were sponsored by the school manager Narend Prasad who was also the chief guest for on the occasion.
