Computer studies have been introduce in secondary schools as a core subject.
As a result the primary school looks forward to introducing computer studies to enable students to gain enough knowledge to overcome difficulties in future.
Sangam Primary School has five computers and hopes to get more computers to cater for classes five to eight.
The Assistant Principal of Sangam Primary School Saten Maharaj said that at the moment only a few classes seven to eight students are able to use the computers.
“We want to help our students to have access to computers and so we have been raising funds from the beginning of this year,” said Mr Maharaj.
He added the school hopes to purchase five more computers before the school begins from next year.
The fundraising has become an ongoing process and teachers are working hard to help their students receive quality education.
