Fiji Boxing Commission director, Allen Harris yesterday said, that is his own personnel view.
“I feel they shouldn’t rush into fighting each other again,” he said.
“It would be best if they have one fight each before we can settle for a rematch.”
Harris said judging from the public’s response they all want see a return fight.
He said money is no longer a problem and all we need is a response from the promoters but for right now the boxers need time to recuperate.
Harris said Kwadjo has been in touch with him several times as he now needs someone to plan his way forward.
“Since Mostafa Khattab has resigned as his manager Kwadjo now needs someone to plan out things for him.”
Meanwhile, the Jittu Boxing Stable believes that Kwadjo should be fair to give Joy Ali the right to fight him again.
“If Joseph wants to be known as a champion then give Joy a second chance,” a statement from Jittu stated.
“And the fact that Joy lost only on points prove the fact that Joseph should give him a rematch.”
Harris also went to wish all boxing officials and fans a prosperous New Year.
