“Nothing is impossible in this world,” he said after the Class 8 student was selected head boy of Rishikul Primary School, in Nasinu.
He walked the tallest after the school with a roll of 1200 students inducted 90 prefects.
Nand, head girl Naweshta Nisha, six deputies and the other 84 prefects were awarded their badges of office after taking an oath to carry out their responsibilities to the best of their abilities this year.
“I am ready to take up the role of a leader in the school,” Nisha said.
“We are not shocked at being chosen because they always choose us as deputies in our Class 8 and Class 7 level,” the head said.
