Written By : SUN FIJI NEWSROOM. One of the largest primary schools in the country has picked 68 students as prefects.
The Veiuto Primary School, in Nasese, Suva, has a roll of 900 students and in a special ceremony yesterday head teacher Apisalome Colainailagovesi presented the 2010 prefects with their badges of office.
Mr Colainailagovesi reminded each of the prefects said that they should be role models to the rest of the school.
Head girl Salote Veisamasama said she was ready to carry out her duties.
“I will do my best to honour this badge,” she said.
Head boy Rob Dorovulomo said, “I need the support of my parents and teachers in leading the school to greater heights.”
