Written By : Peter Lomas. The soft opening of the Expo 2010 Shanghai event for all pavilions in Shanghai was supposed to be just that, an opportunity for family, members and friends of Expo staff and management to view what has already been done/
This is ahead of the official opening this Saturday.
But what an opening – despite not having any exhibitory at all except for the beautiful French Polynesian booth, 69,811 visitors flocked to the Pacific Pavilion when it opened its doors on Tuesday!
Marvelling at the low tech interior design, san exhibitory, the visitors gawked at the beautiful pictures of the environment of the region, the beaches and many tourist attractions, food and people.
